How to Get here

Your journey begins already on the ferry. Every hour, a ferry departs from Den Helder to Texel, leaving on the half hour. You can buy your return ticket at the TESO ferry service counter or in advance at www.teso.nl. The crossing from Den Helder to Texel takes about 20 minutes, and you do not need to keep your ticket for the return journey. You are always free to leave the island!

Due to our prime location at the northern tip of the island, we are easily accessible. When you exit the ferry, follow the signs to “De Cocksdorp.” After about 10 minutes, you will arrive at Polder Eijerland. Slow down by passing the small island airport. Within 100 meters you will find the hotel on your right hand sight.

Public Transport

Are you traveling by public transport? The Texelhopper is the perfect solution for you. You can purchase a Texelhopper ticket at the Connexxion counter in Den Helder or online via the website. It's important to reserve your Texelhopper at least one hour in advance before departure. Reservations can be made at: www.texelhopper.nl or by calling 0222-784 000.

From the train station in Den Helder, take line 33 to the ferry. This bus departs at 12 minutes past the hour and connects perfectly with the ferry schedule.

Roadworks

Starting from September 25th, roadwork will be carried out between the Akenbuurt roundabout and Emmalaan. You may experience some inconvenience. Read the full information about the roadworks here.

Parking

At our location, you can park for free as long as you like. We also provide charging stations for electric cars and bicycles. 

Charging stations do not have to be reserved. However we kindly ask to move the vehicle once it is fully charged, so there is space for the next vehicle to charge.
